The Lake District Wellbeing Institute is building a rigorous, independent evidence base for nature-led and heritage-led wellbeing — grounded in Tallentire Hall's Mind | Body | Place framework. Working with leading UK universities and nature organisations, the Institute measures what actually happens to people when they slow down, step outside, and stay somewhere with 700 years of quiet history. Findings will be published open. The science is serious. The setting helps.
